Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Souq El Dahab app ("the App"), provided by Nebu Systems ("we"), collects, uses and protects data. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: if you create an account, we store your account identifier and sign-in method (e.g. email). Sign-in is optional; prices can be browsed without it.
• Usage and device data: anonymous analytics on app usage, device model, OS version and language, used to improve performance.
• Push notification token: a device token used to send the price alerts you request. It can be disabled in device settings.
• Portfolio data: if you choose to record your gold or silver holdings, they are stored in your account to display their value. This data is private to you and is not shared.
• Advertiser data: if you activate a dealer account, we store the shop details, listings and images you upload. This content is displayed to other users by design.

2. How We Use Data

• Display live gold and silver prices for the Egyptian and UAE markets.
• Send the price-change notifications you requested.
• Store and sync your portfolio and settings with your account.
• Operate the in-app dealer listings section.
• Improve performance and fix faults.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising outside the App.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the technical service providers required to run the App:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Database, Storage, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, App Check) — see the Firebase Privacy Policy.

We may disclose data where required by law.

4. Data Retention

Account and portfolio data is retained while your account remains active. On account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days. Anonymous usage analytics are retained for a maximum of 14 months.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You may access, correct or delete your data. To request deletion of your account and data, email info@nebusystems.com from the address linked to your account; we will action the request within 30 days.

6. Data Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on secured Google Firebase infrastructure, with access rules preventing any user from reading another user's data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we become aware of such data, we delete it promptly.

8. Pricing Disclaimer

Displayed prices are indicative, change continuously, and exclude dealer commissions and workmanship charges. The App does not provide investment or financial advice.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy; the last-updated date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance.
